The Environmental Bureau (ENB) will introduce the bill of municipal solid waste charging into the Legislative Council. ENB announced the 9 categories of the garbage bag with charge of $0.11 per litre. The point of sale of the garbage bag will be at supermarket, convenience store, gas station and post office etc. The municipal solid waste charging shall be effective in 2020. As a property management company, Gallant is going to coordinate with Incorporated Owners and assist them to implement different campaign to reduce waste. We will also set out guidelines to occupants before the legislation is effective.
